learnt a ton at freshworks, my first job ever and it was a rocketship. when i joined we had about 1500 employees when i left the company it had more than doubled in employee count and went public ($10Bn IPO NASDAQ: FRSH).
i was a part of multiple product marketing teams and helped set up the competitive intelligence operations from scratch.
conducted the first ever competitor analysis for freshdesk identifying top competitors by revenue and deals lost/win.
the how: spoke to sales, pulled reports from PowerBI, did a ton of surfing the web like A LOT.
played a key role in rebranding the freshdesk suite of products before the IPO. coordinated with i cant even remember how many teams and touched 200+ webpages to implement proper branding/content.
was awarded the highest rating of MVP the same year for my efforts.
enabled 1000+ GTM members across the globe with battlecards and other competitor collaterals.
the how: coordinated with program management, product, sales enablement and product marketing to craft top notch content and run sessions. hosted all
contributed to product launch activities, wrote a ton of technical documentations, created how-to style videos and other marketing material to promote new features.
the how: had a love-hate relationship with the product team (just kidding or am I?)
collected and wrote a record breaking number of case studies. 15+ customer stories were published within a 6-month period.
the how: my favorite project so far in my professional career. worked with support team to identify happy customers, ran a targeted campaign towards loyal and happy customers. wrote case studies like a maniac, there wasn't even chatgpt then (circa 2019).
